Design and Feel

The PG-5 fins are made with Performance Glass material designed exclusively by FCS.

In order to create these surfboard fins they are finished by hand and foiled using computer technology.

This creates surf fins that replicate the natural flex, foil and feel of glass-on fins.

These fins are the mid sized fins in the Performance Glass (PG) series of high performance fins with a fin base of 4.37” (111mm) and depth of 4.55” (115mm).

The total fin area of the FCS PG-5 fins is 14.76”² (9525mm²) and makes these fins slightly smaller than the FCS PG-7 fins and slightly bigger than the FCS PG-3 fins.

The sweep of the PG-5 fins is set at 33⁰, which is identical to that of the PG-7 fins, and a flat foil.  This is different from the M5 fins that feature an inside foil.

Wave Conditions

The FCS PG-5s are an all-around, high performance glass fin set and can be used in any surf conditions.  This makes these fins perfect as a starting fin set for any surfer.

The Look

The PG-5 fins are blue or orange in color and have a fiberglass look.  These fins also feature the FCS logo and PG-5 imprinted in white at the base of the surf fin.

Surfer Specifications

Being based off of the G5 template the PG-5 fins are perfect for the average size / weight surfer who weighs between 130 and 180 pounds (60 – 80 kg).
