Design and Feel
The highlight of these fins is that they come in FCS' Performance Glass material. This material produces fins that have a flex pattern that is identical to that of traditional fiberglass fins.
With a stiff base and tips that feature a subtle, responsive flex, the PG-3 fins feel as close as you can get to laminated, fiberglass fins.
These surf fins are also designed from the proven G-3000 template that works well for groms and lightweight surfers. This template features a fin base of 4.28” (109mm) and a fin depth of 4.41” (112mm) .
The total fin area of the FCS PG-3 fins is 14.22”2 (9172mm2) and its sweep is set at 31⁰.
Other than construction material, a major difference between these surf fins and the FCS M3 fins and FCS PC-3 fins is that they do not feature FCS' Inside Foil Technology. They instead have a traditional flat foil, giving them an even more incredibly solid and true feel.
Wave Conditions
Using the all-around G-3000 template makes these fins great in all wave conditions.
The Look
Built with Performance Glass material PG-3 fins look very similar to fiberglass. They are also red in color and feature the FCS symbol and PG-3 imprinted at the base of the fins in white.
Surfer Specifications
Similar to the G-3000s these surf fins are meant to be used by surfers that weigh less than 140 pounds or 65 kg. You can also surf these fins if you find that the FCS PG-5 Fins are too large for you.

The FCS PG-3 fins are a great fin set for groms and lightweight surfers that are used to the feel of glass on fins. If you have never tried a removable fin set before then this is a great first step. As the PG-3 fins are designed with FCS' Performance Glass material they feature a flat foil and therefore will provide you with a very natural-feeling high perfromance fin set. This will make your transition to fin systems a very smooth one. Also if you are currently using the M3s or PC-3s then you may want to try the PG-3s for a more laminated glass alternative.
