So who is Mark Richards? Mark Richards is an Australian surfer born in Newcastle, Australia in 1957 and has won the world title four times in a row (1979 – 1982)! He is a legend and is known for his dominating surf abilities on a twin fin surfboard.

Design and Feel
The M.R. TFX fins are a specialty fin made for twin fin, super twin, or fish surfboards and are constructed using FCS Performance Glass.
The Performance Glass material is designed to provide the surfer with the feel of traditional fiberglass fins but with added durability. This makes them very responsive and great for surfers that are considering the transition from glass on fins to removable fins for the first time.
As far as fin flex goes, The FCS MR TFX is quite flexy. Compared to the other MR fins (M.R. 78 fins and M.R-TX fins) in the FCS specialty series, the MR TFX is flexier than the MR 78 and has a stabilizer fin. An almost identical fin is the M.R-TX however with a different construct.
The fin base of the M.R TFX fins is 5.06” (128mm) and they have a depth of 5.58” (142mm). The total fin area measures 21.05”2 (13580mm2) and the fin sweep is set to 33°.
The M.R. TFX fins also include a dynamic stabilizer fin that adds maximum performance to your setup. With a base of 3.55” (90mm) and a depth of 3.90” (99mm), the stabilizer fin has a surface area of 9.61”2 (6200mm2) and a sweep of 31°. The stabilizer fin is also stiffer than the twin fins.
Wave Conditions
A fun fin set for those that enjoy riding “twinnies” the FCS MR TFX fins are a great choice for the average surfer. They can be ridden in most surf conditions.
The Look
The FCS MR TFX fins look just like traditional fiberglass fins and are super clean with their aqua blue, and white colors. The fin has blue colors in the center that blend into a white outline that separates another blue outer trim. The FCS logo and M.R TFX >> is stamped at the outer base of the fins in white. This fin set is also available in black and white, as well as smoke.
Surfer Specifications
Since the MR TFX is a specialty fin from FCS there really are no size limits for the type of surfer that uses them. Created specifically for twin fin, super twin, or fish surfboards, any surfer that enjoys riding waves on these types of boards will benefit from these fins.
