FCS K2.1 Grom Performance Core Fins
The FCS K2.1 Grom Performance Core fins were designed off of Kelly Slater’s signature template that is used on the full-sized K2.1 Performance Core fins but they are scaled down for the groms.
This lightweight fin set are designed for surfing tight in the pocket and beach breaks.

Design and Feel
The FCS fins are made of Performance Core material making them very lightweight with remarkable flex, while still feeling like traditional fiberglass fins.
The K2.1 GROM PCs side fins and center fin have a different template and size. The side fins, which have a base of 3.98” (101mm) and a depth of 4.13”(105mm), are larger than the center fin with a total surface area of 13.89”2 (8964mm2). The side fins also have a larger fin sweep angle of 32⁰ and a flat foil.
The smaller center fin complements these side fins and is a bit small. This fin has a base of 3.94” (100mm), a depth of only 4.05” (103 mm) and a total area of 13.08”2 (8437mm2). The sweep of the center fin is also slightly less and equals 31⁰. The center fin has a 50/50 Foil.
Wave Conditions
The FCS K2.1 GROM Performance Core fins are best for surfing beach breaks and hollow waves. They are also great for groms who like to surf tight in the pocket.
The Look
The K2.1 PC GROM PC Fins look identical to the K2.1 Performance Core fins, a dark blue color and a lighter blue trim around the outside edge of the side fins, with some tiny cross hatch lines across the surface.
There is also a white circle in the center of the outer face of the fins and they have a visible hex pattern since they are made using Performance Core material.
These grom side fins also have “FCS K2.1 GROM” stamped towards the base of the fins in white.
The center fin of this fin set on the other hand feature a white colored core with a visible hex pattern and clear/smoke outer trim. This fin also has a blue circle on the center of its outer face. “FCS K2.1 GROM” is stamped in blue at the base of the center fin.
Surfer Specifications
The FCS K2.1 GROM PC fins are specifically scaled down for surfers in the Extra Small weight category making them ideal if you or your kid are a surfer weighing under 120lbs (55kg).
