Some surfers have also used the side fins from this fin set to add drive, speed, control and stability to their traditional single fin longboards.

Design and Feel
The FCS G-X fins are a thruster fin set designed for extra small sized surfers and therefore have very tiny dimensions. All 3 fins of the set are the same size with a base of 3.86” (98mm), a depth of 3.93”(100mm) and a total surface area of 11.07”2 (7140mm2). The fin sweep is also 33.2⁰. and the foil is 50/50.
The G-X fins are made of FCS’ Glass Glex material giving them remarkable tip flex with little base flex that feels almost identical to traditional fiberglass fins. Their overall flex is stiff compared to other FCS fins.
Wave Conditions
The FCS G-X Glass Flex fins are good for use in any surf conditions and can be ridden at pretty much every type of break. They are also very useful when the waves are smaller and you wish to reduce drag.
The Look
The FCS G-X Fins are very basic and there is nothing significant or really eye catching about them. They are clear white with a fiberglass appears.
If you didn’t know they were removable fins you would think they were glassed on to your surfboard.
Surfer Specifications
The FCS G-X fins are specifically made for surfers in the extra small weight category. This is a perfect fin set for the ultra light groms under 16 years of age, weighing under 120lbs (55kg).
What We Say
If you are just a kid under 120lbs, or have one in the family then the FCS G-X fins are a wise choice. You can use these in a grom surfboard up to 5’10”. Also a perfect fin set if you are looking for a very loose feel or to experiment by adding them as side fins to a single fin long board. But if you are a medium sized or larger surfer looking for a performance fin set, we would recommend checking out some of the other fins in the FCS linep as the FCS GX’s would not be the best choice for you.
