FCS DHD-2 Glass Flex Fins
The FCS DHD-2 Glass Flex surf fins are a tri fin set design by pro shaper Darren Handley of DHD surfboards.
These FCS fins are very popular due to a very unique feature they possess. This is the adjustablity of the center fin due to its smaller tabs. You can move this fin either forward, to create a more loose and responsive feel, or back to provide you with more hold, drive and stability.

Design and Feel
This version of the FCS DHD2 fins are designed using Glass Flex material so they will feel like traditional glass on fiberglass fins with a great flex pattern, flex memory and less drag.
The total area of these FCS fins is 14.86"² (9590mm²) and they have a base of 4.33" (110mm). The DHD-2 fins also feature a fin depth of 4.65" (118mm) and sweep of 34°.
Wave Conditions
The beauty of the DHD-2 FCS fins is that with an adjustable center fin they can be used in all types of surf. If the surf gets big you can shift the fin back to provide more stiffiness, allowing for more down the line surfing. On the other hand if the waves are small but fast you can move the fin forward to loosen up your surfboard and increase maneuverabilty.
The Look
These DHD-2 fins are made out of FCS' Glass Flex material and therefore have the appearance of hand layed fiberglass fins. The fins are clear in color and feature the reknown "Darren Handley Designs" star logo in black and white on the outer face. The FCS logo and DHD-2 are also stamped at the base of the fin.
Surfer Specifications
The FCS DHD-2 Glass Flex fins are a medium size fin set and are best for surfers weighing 130 to 180 pounds or 65kg to 80kg.
What We Say
We love the DHD-2 Glass Flex fins for the very fact that the center fin is adjustable. It is amazing how a slight movement of your center fin forward or backwards can have such a great impact on the way your surfboard feels. This is great because unlike other FCS fin sets if you don't like how these fins feel initially you won't necessarily be disappointed you bought them. Just tweak them a bit by adjusting the center fin and before you know it you might just find that sweet spot that works for you and fall in love with DHD-2s.
